Often in social psychology, students are asked to make a list of their defining features by finishing the prompt "I am..."
By looking at what they list, in what order they are listed, and if those items are individually or community focused, you can tell a lot about a person. As someone who is so passionate about psychology, it only seems fitting that I describe myself in the same way. |
Home.I love my hometown of Tacoma, WA. Born and raised there all my life, I have enjoyed beautiful views of Mt. Rainier, trips to Seattle (always to Pike Place Market), and the wonderfully diverse community.
I spent two years at the extraordinarily community-focused Tacoma Community College, where I got to interact with students of many different backgrounds as a Supplemental Instruction Leader. |
